mobile games (clash of clans, etc) -- but clearly super necessary, can play all on phone

i went ahead and got one (i5 128 gb)

i like it so far, but will take some getting used to. i like the pen but it is a little awkward because you have to put it down when you want to type or else type very slowly with the pen and an onscreen keyboard

also it gets quite warm with even light use

have you so far used it more as a tablet or a laptop? im wondering if one of the functions outperform the other.

i've had the surface for a week now and have only used my laptop once or twice since then

Strengths:

Pen mouse (had to customize it to enable scroll with pen though, it isn't a default option)
Cross-functionality with iOS apps via Bluestacks
Nearly daily automatic background updates
Weather App is pretty cool

Weaknesses:

Trackpad on keyboard is clearly very responsive
Wifi is slightly slower than laptop

the wifi is slower? that seems like a serious flaw

you can still stream HD video no problem

It might be 5% slower than ethernet but I'm clearly complaining

A recent update pretty much fixed the issue

black friday microsoft is through best buy only.... and only 100 off the 128 i5 i think
