For HCL, what kind of setup should i go.

I've only made claw/claw dueling trappers for pubbycore.

Do i want to use fade with say spirit sword and all that?

I always rocked BoS and Fade, depending on the area. If I knew I was gonna need the res (Nith, Council, etc.) I would switch to fade, however for the purpose of running around and placing traps quickly, Burst is way more effective.

Mine will use hoto/spirit.
1- Mind Blast
2- 1 in every shadows execpt 3 in weapon block (None in venom)
3- boost every trap you want.
4- boost fade

This is how I made mine.

Why 3 in weapon block if you're not using Claws?

Fade starts to suck after a certaint level

If you're using a sword/shield combo, NN points in weapon block.
1-2 Points in Fade should work after all the +skills

Getting extra points into Fire Blast is always nice, as it gives more shots to Death Sentry and can help take out LIs

You still get 1% DR for every hard point you put into fade.

Assassins also get like, 5 HP per vita point.
Like I said, Fade in places where you'll actually get hit and take damage, otherwise I run around with BoS for R/W speed and cast rate on the traps.

best friend thought, if you do get a Spirit, get it in a Phase Blade, for the inherent -30 attack speed.

Unless you plan on going for max block (in which case you'd need SS or something better than Spirit Monarch), the Dex is almost too much, and kind of a waste. The 30-40% IAS from BoS is better, IMO, for PvM in most situations.

I believe it counts no matter if fade is on or not.

Assassins don't even get hit that much though, if you know what you're doing.

Shadow + Merc + Mind Blast should be able to keep enemies back while your traps do all the work.

I'll PM you my FT later, pick enough items for a setup and you can have it.

I don't have godly items, but I think I do have stuff like a +3 Trap Coronet, Nat's boots, etc.
