Shield: 30/20 res bone or if your a cheap bastard ward
Boots: Res ones with fr/w
Belt: life fhr str low str req belt
Gloves: I prefer magefists, some prefer frostbites
Helm: fhr life resist bone helm
Rings: fcr resist/fcr mana rares
Ammy: +1 sorc resist fcr if you cant afford a +2 nonetheless it'd run you some [unit not allowed]
I got gear but not for free.
Also stick with blizzard.

Orb/Blizz/FB are the options, FB can't solo hell very well though.
I wrote a guide on this but there's no classic forum to post it

Cheap rare with fr/lr and fhr if needed, dual 20+ res helms without life go very cheap.
